Quality Assurance & Complaints
- In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with our service, you should in the first instance raise any concerns with the solicitor handling your case. Alternatively, should you prefer, or if you feel your initial approach has not resolved the point, we would invite you to contact our Client Relations Partner, Mr Gerry Bann who is based at our Livingston office.
- We will always listen to you and we hope that we will be able to resolve any issues that may arise.
- If we are unable to resolve your concern, you may then submit a complaint to The Scottish Legal Complaints Commission (SLCC), The Stamp Office, 10-14 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh EH1 3EG; telephone - 0131 201 2130; enquiries@scottishlegalcomplaints.org.uk. Guidance on time limits for complaints to the SLCC see can be found on the SLCC website.
- Please note that this complaints process cannot change the outcome of your case. Our solicitors at Adams Whyte will, however, always be happy to advise you on whether there are grounds for an appeal against a decision of the court in a criminal case where Adams Whyte have acted for you.
